Come join us for a variety of classes you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home digitally via Zoom! Classes span a variety of different topics with various instructors. REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY OPEN! CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

ACTIVE FLEXIBILITY
No experience required! Do you not only want to become flexible but also be strong enough to lift your own limbs through a wide range of motion? This class is for you! Exercises will focus on improving strength as well as mobility so that stronger active muscle-powered (as opposed to passive muscle-relaxed) ranges of motion can be accessed.

INTRO TO BARRE
No experience required! Start with the ballet basics or return to ballet basics with this easy, barre-style workout from the comfort of your own home. No ‘barre’ required- any counter, shelf, or chair will work just fine! These exercises will help tone your legs and engage your core while helping you practice artful lines with your entire body. Strongly recommended for any acrobat, mover, or aerialist looking to gain increased strength and control in their legs. No experience required or prerequisites!

AT-HOME STRENGTHENING AND CONDITIONING
No experience required! At-Home Strengthening and Conditioning will focus on bodyweight or lightweight resistance training using items commonly found around the house. The goal is to get your body moving and your muscles flexing!

CONDITIONING FOR HANDSTANDS
No experience required! This class will focus on the strength and mobility necessary for handstands. We'll do drills to train proper alignment, strengthen our wrists and forearms, do focused core work for press handstands, and more! Note: Per Gravity policy for remote classes, we will not actually be inverting in this class. We'll instead focus on conditioning you can safely do at home without a spotter, so this class should be appropriate for students with a range of experience levels.

KINSTRETCH 1: FUNDAMENTALS OF MOVEMENT
No experience required! We focus on taking each joint through its full range of motion as well as learn ways to self-screen for compensations or limited ranges. We will work on expanding those limited ranges. There will be end-range training useful for both bendy and less-bendy folks to strengthen the joints. All of which leads to healthy and efficient joint movement to better master skills and to mitigate injuries.

KINSTRETCH 2: MOBILITY & CONTROL
Instructor permission OR regular attendance in a level 3+ class at Gravity prior to COVID-19 outbreak is required. This class is for those that want to expand their Kinstretch practice to a more intermediate level. This class will include level 2-3 CARs progressions and work on more skill specific exercises to improve end-range strength essential for active flexibility related to skills such as splits, straddles, pikes, straight arm inversions, hanging beats, back-bends and planches.

BABY & ME KINSTRETCH
No experience required! One registration counts for both the caretaker and child. Self care for caregivers of infants and toddlers. This Kinstretch class is designed to help parents/caregivers who have fallen into autopilot mode. We will focus on often neglected and tense areas, and discuss strategies for independent practice throughout the week.By inviting our little ones to be present while we work on ourselves, we are modeling to them the importance of self care while also making time for connection and play.

FUNCTIONAL FLEXIBILITY
No experience necessary! Everyone who wants to improve their functional mobility for aerials, acrobatics, athletic performance, and/or every day wellness is welcome. Every class includes a warm-up with brief cardio, core and shoulder stability work, followed by functional mobility exercises including active, dynamic, resistance, static, and partner stretching (alternatives to partner stretching are always available). Each student is encouraged to set goals at the beginning of the session and work toward them, and tips for safer mobility work on your own are provided.

QUARANTINE SPECIAL: ROOMMATE/FAMILY CONDITIONING AND FLEXIBILITY
“Quarantine special: Roommate/family conditioning and flex with Marci & Marisa Diamond” for ages 8 through adults. For pairs of household members, we offer fun, intensive, partnered circus-specific conditioning and flexibility. Suggest carpet or yoga mat. 1 hour. All welcome; be prepared to sweat!

LIVING ROOM CIRCUS: COUCH POTATOES
Sat. 11:15am: “Living Room Circus: Couch Potatoes” with Diamond Family Circus.Intermediate/Advanced Youth Circus Training including Intensive conditioning, flexibility, and yes, a bit of object manipulation to remind you to practice! 1 hour. Ages 9 - 16, geared to Gravity Level 4 youth, but level 2-4 youth (and equivalent fitness level elsewhere in circus, gymnastics, etc) are welcome

PULL-UP BAR CONDITIONING
Pull-up Bar Conditioning is a ground based fitness class designed for Intermediate Aerialists/Acro/Fit savvy people to stay strong while at home. Yoga mat and door pull-up bar recommended but modifications can be provided for people who do not have a pullup bar. Two chairs can also be substituted for a pullup bar. You do not need to be able to do a pull-up, there are many exercises we will do utilizing the bar.
