Ages 9-17.
At Gravity Alternative Movement Youth Circus School Break Program, your child will have fun in a safe environment while learning aerial, acrobatic and other circus skills, and gaining strength, balance, flexibility & focus. All levels welcome; students will be grouped by skill level where appropriate. The program encourages participants to work creatively & collaboratively. Participation boosts confidence, communication, self-esteem, physical fitness, and performance skills. We maintain a low student : teacher ratio, along with trained assistants, to support safety, supervision, & fun!

General program policies: Note, no drop-offs prior to 8:50am unless prearranged; charge of $1/minute for unscheduled late pick up. We require 2 supervising staff 18+ on site at all times for groups of 6 or more. Additionally, parent/guardians MUST sign children under 12 in and out each day. With written parent/guardian permission, teens may sign themselves in and out. Parents must pack two snacks and lunch for their children on each day of the program. Food will NOT be provided by the Gravity Alternative Movement Youth Circus School Break Program.

Our highly experienced circus professionals will teach students a variety of skills based on their interests and abilities. All participants will have the opportunity to work on:
  • Aerials: Static Trapeze, Fabric/silks, Sling, Lyra/hoop, Spanish web
  • Floor Acrobatics: Basic tumbling, partner and group acrobatics
  • Object manipulation: Juggling balls, scarves & clubs, feather balancing, hula hooping
  • Clowning, physical theater, slapstick, pratfalls, improvisations
  • Circus crafts & games
